I’m entry level at MS with a TC of 190, I’m worried about realistically maintaining my salary, and comparably growing it as I move up. I already feel I am starting off with more responsibility, which I enjoy. Can I realistically expect promotions to increase my salary substantially, or will some places pass over me because of budget, and get someone “cheaper” instead? I am new to the corporate world, it’s my first FTE job.
What’s the break up of your TC?
If you stay at Microsoft you are fine, if you go to most other companies they do not pay entry level at $190k
