Can anyone at Oath/Yahoo help with this situation? I have an account that I deleted with personal information. I deleted it MONTHS ago and yet it is publicly visible :(. I tried reaching the customer service so many times but they replied with canned replies and just ignored the issues. I know, I know I work at fb which has a bad privacy reputation but at least we don’t leave deleted accounts visible to the public. Can anyone at Oath/Yahoo please help me with this? I am at my wits end 🥺. Please reply and I will PM you the details. At fb we have an internal request form which resolves these things quickly. I’m hopeful that it will be the same at Yahoo. Also I can imagine many other people suffering from the same bug. Thank you.
You work at Facebook, buddy.
Who said deleted stuff not visible at Facebook? For a very long time Facebook just used to not let you delete your profile permanently. Since per their rule if you login in the 30 or 60 day period following your delete they consider it as a reactivation, FB used to just send an email "hey you tried to access, right? Here's the link to directly access your account" etc when you never actually attempted to access your account.
I apologize for that sir
This is whataboutism. Doesn't help op. Strongly suggest op to stop going on a apology tour like Beto. We can walk and chew at the same time. Let fb fix the problems it has. That shouldn't preclude Yahoo fixing their issue
Yahoo had internal issue request procedure, for inquiries like this one - from friends and family. Luckily I left that septic tank a while ago.
Show some respect buddy
Haines, is that you again?
Lol, what kind of stuff are you worried about?
Irrelevant.
