Hi, I'm trying to decide between these two companies for the summer. Both positions are full stack, where Autodesk uses Node for backend and Intuit uses Java. Both seem like recognizable companies with good cultures so it's a really tough decision. Which company would you pick? I'm hoping to use this internship as a stepping stone to FANG. #autodesk #intuit #internship #intern
Interned at Intu. 100% recommend.
Intuit.
I did intern at Intuit and found the whole experience quite rewarding. A lot of this depends upon your manager at Intuit. But overall, in my experience Intuit does adds decent weight to your profile ( for future transition to FAANG). Also, I would recommend to that if you join Intuit, take you time and understand the scope of deliverables your team/manager expects from you out of the internship and have clear communication. Most of the engineers I have worked with at Intuit are very nice and helpful so feel free to leverage them. Good luck!
I’m a staff engineer, speak for yourself.
Intuit would be a stronger brand for a move to FANG imo.
Saw this same post on r/uwaterloo 😂
Just my experience .. I interned and Google and Intuit and found Intuit to be much better

What happens when most of your team is Indian?
Inuit. Finances and taxes are more interesting than auto CAD software that never changes.
I'll be working on the data platform at Autodesk, not the CAD.
