Can someone share how does the role of marketing science partner is perceived within facebook? Is it viewed on the same level as data scientist or lower? Is it the same as Client Partner?
Bump, does anyone know the TC for this role?
Bump, does anyone know how the interviews for this role (MSP) are like? And TC too
Bump, does any one knows about the pay in these roles, is it higher than Data scientist
I worked as a marketing science partner, it is not higher paying that a data scientist job and the work is becoming more sales/deck focused. A few people still doing some technical work, but it is discouraged, which is why I left.
Depends on location- ic5 Austin is around 250k TC

ByteDance is officially fucked
I think it’s the same as data scientist (aka decision scientist) who work on FB internal projects vs MSPs work on client projects. So that would mean that in the case you speak to clients, (often their data scientist), you’d need to be able to speak more eloquently and have a better understanding of the business implications for FB and clients goals , than say internal decision scientists are required (as they are speaking to internal stakeholders) Not saying internal decision scientists can’t speak business, but less of a pressure to be this way than a client facing role
Which one gets paid more? MSP or decision scientist?
