Massive shootings: is Bay Area safer?
Too many massive shootings in the US lately. In my opinion, people in bay area (especially in tech) are generally more anxious due to crazy mortgages, visa issues, job hopping, TC comparisons on blind, etc. Anxiety can turn people into attackers. Do you think the bay area is a safer place?

Which is why we have a driving licence. Police to patrol for speeding and driving drunk. Seatbelts. Car seats for children. Working towards self driving cars.
Also, I'll gladly forgo a car if public transit wasn't worse here than freaking third world countries.
Very safe. Stay in coastal cities. Midwest is not ideal for immigrants.
