Hi Everyone,
I'm new to the field of Master Data Management (in a large healthcare organization). I have been 6 months in the job and I'm bored in this role. Probably because the trainings for the role are slow and we are being introduced to new tasks/responsibilities slowly.
Previously I was a Demand Planning Specialist in healthcare and it was an exciting but hectic role. I also feel that it was meaningful as I managed the supply chains for key medicines.
I'm seriously thinking about switching back to being a Demand Planner or a supply chain role (I took a lower level position for MDM and it feels like I started from scratch).
However I feel tech roles have more scope for growth in terms of remuneration and future opportunities. Is Master Data Management a better career option that Supply Chain management in terms of wlb, compensation and opportunitiesfor growth ?
