Got accepted to: Ms in applied analytics at Columbia university and Ms in health informatics at Cornell university Majored in public health in my undergrad but has 2.5years of coding experiences (school courses + software engineering internships). Cornell seems a better fit for me in that the program is health + technology. However, as I'm pursuing the degree for career advancement, applied analytics at Columbia seems better if I want to pursue software engineer as my career? This is a big dilemma for me. Would appreciate any advice! Thanks :)
Columbia
How does applied analytics help with a software engineering career?
Just use coursera and YouTube to educate yourself. Probably more useful than either of those courses.
Lol at all these newly created niche Master's degrees. CMU has a Master's in Product Management now. Say what?
If you want to do software why not do computer science?
The only reason reason to do this is immigration. Be sure it'll get you what you want in that Dept before spending two years on it. For career it's better to work.
Cornell everytime.

Columbia. Enjoy the the big city experience. The money will come regardless if you’re motivated
Cornell's program is also based in Manhattan!
Was not aware of that... in that case go where the money makes the most sense
