Looking to buy a used Mazda CX5. Love the look, the size, the handling, reviews and the price. What is your take on this car? Is there any other compact SUV in the market in the same price range (25-30k) which outperforms this car? Open to suggestions with good reasoning.
This is the 3rd post I have seen about this car in past 2 days here. What's going on???
Love it!
Mazdas are typically good cars. For a CUV, the CX-5 is a good offering. Think of it as a Honda with character. The newer Equinox isn’t a bad a car either. It tends to get overlooked because GM, but if you want something reliable it’s not a bad option. Because Chevrolet floods the market with cheap leases, you should be able to find a CPO one for a good price.
I have a 2019 CX-5. It’s a great car and tough to beat in the price category. Better fuel efficiency would be nice and if that is a priority you could look at a RAV4 hybrid. Aside from this you could also look for a used X1 or XC40 (tough to find) but they are a bit smaller and more luxury oriented.
It's THE cheap fun SUV. 2.5l and 6 speed have been reliable, they are fun to drive (last CX-5 I drove was in the mountains in Reno/Tahoe, was great), good on gas, comfy, useful space. Good grown up car that can still be fun.
Subaru crossovers are a good completion.
It's good car. Using cx5 car for 6 years now. No issues till date
Handling is trash.
Why used??
Why new??
I recently graduated from college and don’t have much to spend on this 😅
