I sold Microsoft RSUs and have 400k in cash. May buy a home next year but not fully certain. What should be my investment strategy?

If you are someone with high risk appetite - Ride the tech wave, pay cap gains and go back in tech stocks. Again here go with one or go with a bunch of stocks depending on what you feel best.
If you are someone with low risk appetite- Keep your cash in 2 high yield saving account of 200k each which are FICD insured.
How the a particular stock or the stock market is going to do in the next year is just going to be a roll of dice.
For me, I sold my 500k worth of MSFT from 2014 to 2020 with no regrets. I still have about that much left.
Good luck on whatever you decide
