Is Mckinsey really the number 1 strategy consulting firm out there? I honestly think it's a little overrated...Any other firms out there that you think are better outside of MBB?
BAH is solid.
🤦🏿♂️
Not even tier 3
FWIW id pick a dream project at deloitte over a shit implementation at McKinsey digital. That said... You know what a mbb consultant and deloitte consultant have in common? They both applied to mbb 😂😂
Other firms may or may not be better, but certainly the name recognition of McKinsey, Bain, and BCG will help your resume. Recruiters stalking LinkedIn profiles sure like seeing it, and so do a lot of potential employers in firms and in house.
They all suck quite honestly. Very rarely do they understand the business enough to be much more than slide monkeys and sales guys.
Great brand but like anything else ymmv
Everything else is niche and can/will excel MBB, they’re the best generalist firms. MBB is good when you need some logical/second views, not as much SME.
Agreed.
