Looking for suggestions on insurance policy for my parents. They are 50ish and have some pre-existing conditions.
Which medical insurance is good for them in India?

Visit any government bank, they provide group health insurance. Premiums are cheap as well.
I have my parent insurance through PNC but one private through MaxBuppa.
I have used the bank policy ( through oriental) twice at Medanta.

I think max is 10 lac, i think preexisting is covered after 3-4 years. Check with them.

@AppDynamic first one was through new india insurance and used for my fathers bypass without problems.
Maxbuppa i purchased it recently separate from bank and have not used it.

I got Maxbupa, now Niva. I pay 65K annually for the Medical. But the moment you mention any pre condition then things will get difficult to issue the policy.

  • See if Amazon India has tie up with any insurance provider, generally they do, the one's with tie up usually gives waiver on existing conditions. Go for 7 fig. yearly coverage for each of them.
