On a Friday afternoon, my manager put a meeting titled "team structure changes" for next Monday. It includes HR.
Is this a reorg or layoff? Something else?
This seems against best practice to schedule days in advance with no context.
Any advice or insight what this would be about?

Shitty of your manager to send the invite on a Friday afternoon though.
Seems likely that either
1) your manager is getting let go
2) other people on your team are being let go
3) your team is being disbanded/cutback and people will be moved internally.
I've experienced meetings for 1 and 3
