What do the different brands convey? Like you find Seiko at 250+ vs low cost Swiss brands like Tissot at 350+ vs other brands... Do they convey something deeper about the wearer?
I'm looking to buy a watch and have a Max budget of 500.

Shoes on the other hand....
Talk shoes to me.
Pls talk shoes to me. Someone? Anyone?😈
I love ae. Got several
A mechanical swiss or Seiko say that you like craftsmanship over run of the mill.
Same thing like a Tesla versus a vintage long hood Porsche. Running and maintaining that vintage Porsche needs dedication and research that not everyone could afford to do it.
I understand cars better, for example. For a novice, a Buick or a Subaru are priced similar, drive similar, have the same seats, similar infotainment, maybe I don't need AWD etc. But the cars represent something fundamentally different. I don't want to spend 500 dollars and end up with the Buick of the lot.
My goal is not to look cool. My goal is to not look bad / naive.
