I already have a Honda SUV I bought couple of years ago. My previous work was a mile away and I never drove a lot.
I recently switched jobs and my work is 30 miles one way and I was looking to buy a better car for commute. Should I buy it or save for the house down payment?

However, we are all going to die anyway so if you REALLY want a new car then get it. No point in investing if youโre unhappy the whole time.
I drive a used Toyota Camry and my net worth is around 6 million. I LOVE cars (I go to car meets and can work on them too; also watch Doug DeMuro lol) but I decided to focus on expanding wealth. Then I can drop cash on an AMG GT or a McLaren 720s
Also itโs nice to know that if you hate your job; you can quit anytime and youโll have money coming in from other means.
@Dr. Savage: Renting out the whole house will get you bigger profits but then you have to think about your housing situation. I actually started with trailers (thru are cheap and rent easily) then marked up rent and let people stay in them. From that I bought a small townhome and lived in it while renting out the other rooms at a premium. Again I reinvested in trailer homes and grew from there.
If you're going to be stupid, at least buy used with CPO.
And asking people for advise without providing any data (TC, net worth etc) whatsoever?
