Google L7 Sr EM. I am considering giving meta a try. Wondering about the typical team size & scope for these three levels. Thanks,

    Op Can M1 with non-Faang make it to M2 in Meta? If team size and scope is well over that for M2

      Can out side M1 make it to M2 in FAANG? Very very rare. It is usually the opposite. I have seen many non-FAANG VPs and Sr Directors with 100+ org join as L7/M2. I also say this first hand - managing scope and org for 50 engineers is more challenging than doing it for 100+ in most non-FAANG companies. I am sure there are some exceptions, but this is generally true. I was able to manage my 70 person org in a top bank in my sleep and I struggled with 35 people in Google sometimes.

      @DrbC08, what do you think makes it different? I've my M2 onsite soon and will like to take those nuances into account while answering.
