I’m starting at Meta early next year, based in NYC. Curious about the perks, which I suppose are generally uniform across the US. Any favorite and/or “hidden” perks?

I’m familiar with the general things like generous PTO, parental leave, insurance etc. But I’ve also heard about employees buying an Oculus and Apple Watch and getting it comped as a “fitness” expense… curious about stuff like this.

    Not much is NYC specific. The fitness benefit you are referring to is quite generous, but equinox will eat up that budget while those in MPK have a gym on site, so you'll have to forgo that if you want to spend it on an apple watch.

      Is there a benefit to using the wellness benefit for an Equinox membership in NYC instead of just any random gym? First I’ve heard of this.

      Yeah lol equinox seems like a stretch tbh, esp because it probably wouldnt be covered entirely? Just my guess

    This is true (fitness expenses). In general, the perks are really good!
