You can get your first distribution anywhere from 3 to 6 months after you start. Shares vest quarterly on 2/15, 5/15, 8/15, and 11/15. So if you start on 5/14, you start vesting on 5/15, and get your first distribution on 8/15. If you start on 5/16, you start vesting on 8/15, and get your first distribution on 11/15. The first distribution is prorated to account for how long you'll have to wait for it.
