It is my last week at Walmart. My bucket list:
Take out my reports to lunch. (One of my reports joined in February and we never met in person, we have to fix that.)
Reimburse my reports for LC membership.as continuing education.
Write recommendation letters for my reports.
Make sure one of my reports files the requested PERM paperwork with external law firm. (Already pointed her to similar document filled for other associate last year.)
Connect my reports to ex-team members. (They work at FB, Amazon, Google, Tiktok, Robinhood, EBay, ...)
Stop 401k contribution. (This way the last paycheck will not have a deduction and I do not need to wait with the rollover to solo401k.)
Backup all personal files from laptop. Erase personal content from laptop.
Make a commit with an Easter egg message.

However, wife wants to stay in the Bay Area (and we just signed our daughter up for school here) so I will come back from retirement. :-) I do not talk about details of that yet.
Regarding your 401K, there is no such thing as a solo 401K. You can roll it over to an IRA, your new employer's 401K or leave it where it is. There are more protections in place for 401Ks if you are ever sued so I would recommend keeping the money in a 401K.
Small business owners are eligible. Tutoring, Lyft driving may do it.
You can manage your own investments beyond mutual funds. I do option trading, private equity deals, commercial real estate deals.
