How do you think this will impact Bloomberg (the company)? Is his campaign talked about at the office? Curious to know if people who work there feel comfortable talking about politics?
People talk about politics all the time. Some are really excited about Mike. Others want Bernie.
True
Yeah ppl talk about it a lot. See lots of Mike stickers, buttons every day. Although many ppl think he’s done now after the debate.
I don't think so. I think he is going to take down crazy socialist clueless Bernie tomorrow
There are too many centrists in the primaries right now and only two progressives. Biden/Bloomberg/Klobuchar/Buttigieg are splitting the centrist vote while Sanders gets all the progressive votes. I think it’s very likely Sanders will be the nominee. Not saying I want that because I think he’d probably lose against Trump, but that’s what it’s looking like right now.
Let's just wait for super Tuesday. Bernie for sure will loose against Trump. He has no freaking idea how much and where will the money come from for his stupid crazy idea.
No one even talks about it but personally, I think he will do good. Hope his candidacy becomes clear so that many discussions can be held
Yeah, people talk about it all the time. How it will impact the company? Dunno. People will probably figure out what we do now, but eh whatever. If they're not buying terminals them I guess it doesn't matter.
If Mike wins and decides to sell the firm I expect 20-30% cuts over 4-5 years. Plus another 15-20% jobs moving to Asia
There's definitely talk about his campaign at work...when colleagues get pulled to support it, how could we not? Most colleagues of mine like Mike, the divide is in if we want him to win (some want him to win, others don't want him to sell, still others are socialists). Almost all of us were pretty disappointed in him after the last debate though, but we'll see what happens.
I believe his campaign team already made it clear that if Mike gets the nomination, then if he is not able to find a buyer for the company, he will put the company in a trust.
Bloomberg is glassdoor surveillance office. Talking about politics is probably belad idea there.
