Expecting an offer from Microsoft from an interview day event. I was told this event is for different levels, so I am not about sure about the level that I would being offered (yet to talk the details/numbers) How is the Azure Data box team? Can anybody shed some light on the team matching process at Microsoft? Any other good team that I can request for with the recruiter? Is L63/L64 a reasonable level to expect for my experience? Would be great to get some guidance here! Current TC: G11 with 230K > 5 years of experience (3 in a successful startup)

Does Microsoft actually uplevel candidates after their initial offer? Doesn't it depend on the HC? Or would the hiring manager/recruiter have the power to influence this decision?
I was told I can expect atleast one round of system design, but to my surprise, there wasn't a systems design round. Not sure if this means anything for the leveling.

It was a pleasant experience, they had everything pre-arranged for each of the candidates. 2 LC hard (one of them had behavioral before coding) and 2 Medium.
So there was no System Design round for you?

i’ve been to one of those msft interview day event with different azure team and they tend to down-level people to sde 2’s. in my case recruiter refused to even tell me it was 61 or 62, so i’m guessing it was 61. which, of course, i declined the offer i had to go through a formal interview loop for a different team to get 63
I heard the same from other sources. And the lack of proper communication from their end is not helping as well.
