Why I Find Free Palestine Inspiring
Going through background verification for a role at MS. Hireright highlights a gap of couple of months from my last job to present(currently b/w jobs). I had been waiting for visa approval for a different offer while MS opportunity came up. Would two months gap be a big concern for MS? PS - Won't be able to share TC and YoE for obvious reasons #microsoft #amazon #hireright #backgroundcheck #backgroundverification #gapstandard
Not specific to msft, but my buddy took off a year between work, had a friend take off 6 months and another co-worker take off 2 years with no work. 6 months is the magic number where companies start to get worried
Wondering what's the magic number for MS🙂?
I was sharing industry standard, ms wouldn't be worse than industry imo
No. Just fill out the requested response through the Hire Right portal. Their customer service is hir or miss.
TC or GTFO
Current TC is $0k, as you might have guessed 🙂
What all documents would one have to send to HireRight?
Hireright asks for info related to your education and work experience. You may be ask to provide paystubs, W2s, degree certificates and probably transcripts.
Where exactly in the HireRight portal can I upload the documents? I do not see a section for documents.
How long did it take for the background check?
How long did it take after the education and employments were verified?
How did it go?
You should be fine.
Curious if you have been a recruiter or have been in a similar situation.
Had background check during 1st week of the month for msft. Been into same situation
