Does anyone have any insight around this position? TC, Level, Interview Process, WLB? Location: WA TC: 170K YoE: 3 Hoping that this position pays between 225-250K TC. Thanks.
@Hiringcomm, do you have any insight regarding the Account Technology Strategist role? TC/Level? How that compares to Sales Specialist?
ATS is like the quarterback. Usually level 62-64 as well. They have a very large number of various different quotas covering a ton of metrics. It's more base salary and less commission than an Account Executive or SSP but it's a jack of many trades. While I know several ATSs who have been in role for many years its safe to say none of them are terribly happy. But then again that's how sales is. Ote should be less than a SSP or sales solution specialist which is the job title of your original role.
Got it, thanks. I’m in my mid/late 20s so I don’t mind grinding it out for a bit. What’s the next move after ATS if you have people there for a few years? Is it safe to say this is more “Account Management” than true Sales? My background is mainly in SaaS sales with a recent move to AWS.
How do you like AWS? Why do you want out?
I like it a lot but the position they’re interviewing me for is the Amazon equivalent of a mid L5 where as I’m currently an L4. Plus an Amazon promo would put me at the bottom of the L5 band so if the comp and responsibilities are in line I’m not opposed to learning more
It would be neat if I could work at AWS. I’m currently located in OKC
Yes it does, or more. Wlb? Fucking zero.
For 250K+ I’m ok with 50-60 hours weeks. Any other suggestions/insight? Appreciate your help
What would you like to know? These are typically level 62-64 roles with a 50/50 comp plan. They're brutal though. Azure targets are damn impossible to hit let alone exceed. Rare that someone lasts more than two years
