Microsoft CSA offer

Got an offer from Microsoft for a Cloud Solutions Architect. I️ took it. I️ believe in the direction of Azure and Microsoft (CEO is excellent). Money wise, should I️ have asked for more? Seemed about right, though they came in 5k lower than my current base. Made up for it in stock and signing bonus. Still think I️ should have pushed on the stock numbers. 70/30 (208 total) 160 base 30% bonus/yr 25k sign-on bonus paid 30 days after start (need to stay one year to keep) 50k Stock 10 years experience. Thoughts?

What level?

Microsoft Cody-Stuff Nov 9, 2017

Looks like lv64, your stock awards will likely be 24-40k each year. Not on the high end for that lvl but room to grow.

As a comparison I joined 5yrs ago at lvl 63. 146k base 24k stock award No sign on bonus Now Lvl 64 171k base 72k bonus total 33k stock award This past rewards season

Wow pretty solid base+bonus. Are you software developer?

I’m a TSP in US, fell into the 120% for rewards so decent year.

Good question, I️ should have asked. I️ saw t3 somewhere on the offer letter but I don’t think that maps to Microsoft. I’ll find out

How is WLB for CSA and TSP roles compared to engineering? At level 64.

Microsoft rrca94 Dec 9, 2021

Probably varies by sales org and account teams. My CSA role is great WLB.

Which team are you, and you hiring? :))
