Hi all, I was recently headhunted for a CSA role with Microsoft. I've poke around quite a bit on Blind but most of the recent compensation information I have seen for the CSA/SA role has been specific to Amazon, Google, or other companies other than MS. The general impression that I have is that MS tends to make much lower offers than Amazon/Google, but I am wondering if that still holds true given the current market. I'm hoping to target somewhere between $330-400k. Is this a realistic range for a Sr. CSA at Microsoft? For anyone that is currently in this role at Microsoft (especially if you have recently received an offer), would you mind responding with your TC? *Current TC Breakdown* Current Role: Senior Cloud Infrastructure Architect Base: ~$186,000 RSUs: ~$50,000 (est. based on current market value) Total: ~$236,000 YoE: 15 (5 at Amazon) Location: Switzerland #msft #salary #tc
Loc and YoE
Is that total RSUS over a 4 year vesting period? No bonus component over the base?
The RSUs are just what I have vesting this year, not total. No bonus structure for my current role.
Principal L65+ gets you over 300k. Sr. won't get you there.
What is max base pay for Sr. CSA?
What region are you ? You can push on the RSU. The CSA role has a 30% variable.
Hey there, I updated my initial post to include location and YoE.
How long it takes to get the results after the final discussion?

Lol good luck with that. I'm a lvl 64 CSA and my comp is around the $220k mark. And my compa ratio is like 1.15 so according to Microsoft I am overpaid
I see many companies doing a pay revision now .. is MSFT planning to change comp levels ?
Nope, although news that Amazon is will certainly help. I think instead they are offering more promotions but the percentage increase on promotion is laughable
