Microsoft Data Scientist Interview
I have a technical screen scheduled for a L60 (2+ YoE required) Data Scientist role. I wanted to know what would be the format ? Also, will they ask any software engineering (Data Structure/Algorithms such as Linked Lists, Binary Trees, Red Black Trees, or similar). I'm worried about this, because I don't have any knowledge on this, as most of my work has been regarding sql, python, spark, and creating ml models. Though there's nothing written on JD regarding this, but I wanted to know what others have faced during the interviews. So, will I be asked Software engineering questions. Update: I directly asked the hiring manager whether this role requires any Software development experience. And he said, it's good to have some programming experience but Software development experience is not required.
