$117k base, $130k/4yrs RSU, 35k sign on bonus paid over 2 years. Is this a good offer for a Statistics PhD from top 10 US program or should I negotiate?
In Redmond? That feels really low.
Yes in Redmond
TC or GTFO
Definitely low. I make more as an analyst. I would get that salary up to 130 at least. If you also have work exp, push higher. As the other person suggested, ask for higher bonus
Is that 130k RSU per year?
No over 4 years
Can ask for 20k more base.
Are you just out of school. Either way it's a decent offer without competes and without being a returning intern.
Yes but prior work experience before PhD
If you have no work experience, looks decent
2 years experience prior to PhD
Doing what and with what title?
Did they level you at 60? If 61 then the base is low by 10k or more
I believe it was at 60 but not sure
If it was 60 then this is a reasonable offer for the level That being said, with a PhD and work experience they should've been offering you at lvl 61
Sounds really low
