Have offers for all 3, Microsoft is in Redmond and Databricks/Robinhood are in SF. I'd be working on Azure in Microsoft, or as a backend engineer at Databricks/Robinhood. Comp is about the same. Also looking for conversion to full time after internship.
Azure is a growing division in Microsoft. Go, live in Seattle, and steer clear of SF IMO
Azure seems cool! What's wrong with SF?
It’s an internship....take whatever one gives you the most visibility into what you want to do long term. If Product, then you better be part of the actual product team, even if you’re just doing python automation scripts
Microsoft.
voted for not living in SF
What's wrong with SF? Genuinely curious, since it seems like there's a lot of talent/opportunity there.
What perks do you get at Robinhood? No commission trading? 😂😂
Databricks has a lot of upside in equity value I feel. They keep growing like crazy and have a great product.
Microsoft has super easy conversion, I personally would pick Databricks if you think you could live in SF after, if you don't care about those two factors I'd pick Robinhood
Databricks is growing like crazy and their product is hot. Also, underlying technology is very in demand (Spark). That's what I would pick. Eitherway, I think you can't go wrong with any of these choices. Maybe I wouldn't go to Seattle because of, you know, no sun.
Robinhood is one of the best out there right now. Intern there cuz it’s small and growing super fast
What is your view post etrade and Charles dropping commission to 0 now?
When did you interview for Microsoft?
How long did it take for them to respond?
