I have a microsoft hiring event coming up. The recruiter told me they hire from lv 60 to 64 so I’m left wondering what level of questions can I expect from the on-site interviewers? YOE: 1 TC: 69 🥜
Tried once and got an offer. 140K TC for 3YoE.
I got TC of 160K SDE1 at L60 , Base 120 YOE3
How much stock?
20K per year. Sign on 10 , Relocation 10
Mostly mediums and hards. I believe if they feel you're doing well after 2 rounds they amp up the difficulty to hard questions.
Hards always throw me off if they involve a trick or anything 🥺
So far, even a simple find LCA of a tree threw me off on an on-site round 😅 The only solution is to practice in similar settings with similar difficulty questions until you become good enough.

How hard is it to get an offer from one of these events?
Not that hard. It’s well organized. 32 candidates , 16 before noon & 16 after noon. 4 interviews per candidate, all basic programming concepts like strings, linked lists , trees & recursion.
