YOE: 12 My current TC: 52 Lacs+ 30K USD worth RSU per year Offered: 45 Lacs Base + 6.8 Lacs Variable (considered only 15% out of 30%) + USD 200K worth RSU for 4 years+ 15 lacs joining bonus (paid in. 2 parts) They dint give hike on my cash component though the RSUs are good. Did they just lowball me on cash? i asked for 10Lacs more on base, but they dont seem to budge. #microsoftsalary #microsoftindia

You can't have best of all world. Would you accept 50 lpa Base with 100k stock? There will always be trade of. Trust me i have not seen such high offer at L63. 200k stocks are even high for l64

This is a really good offer for l63, but with 12 yoe you could have asked for l64.
Well I asked for that first even before asking for compensation. They were reluctant about level change.
Pretty good offer for L63. RSUs would make up for same base in the long run.

Its 6. Yoe does not matter though . Level is a level - that decides the knowledge/impact whatever ... In general - I have been at more than 5 years at MSFT but It takes 8-9 yrs easily - that is also considered a very good case. So Yoe is not relevant though
