Base looks fine, everything else is low balled

Without any other offers there is always very little room to negotiate. Could try "asking" for more RSUs though.

Is the projected TC applicable if you stay at your current role?

Viant fSvw35 OP Oct 30, 2019

no i don’t think i can get anywhere near with my current role

Don’t add sign on in TC, and even if you do, divide by number of years you expect to stay there

VMware lftl00 Oct 30, 2019

Never mind, just saw that you’ve mentioned year 1 TC

My friend who’s a masters new grad got 130k/4 stock and 50k sign on, so you can definitely ask for more

Microsoft ERlc58 Oct 30, 2019

New grad returning intern stock is like 120/3.5 now, never mind L61

Goldman Sachs baburao1 Oct 30, 2019

Curious why do they do it? Would they be fine if you ask for 150k stocks for l60-61?

Microsoft ERlc58 Oct 30, 2019

I've no idea why they're so competitive for new grad but not experienced

Microsoft v9fq2a Oct 30, 2019

Fine

Microsoft godovrdjn Oct 30, 2019

New grads are getting 120 stock

Schlumberger IpIe15 Nov 2, 2019

It's good. Stocks generally suck for industry hires so don't pay attention to the new grads get blah comments

Seems standard Microsoft offer based on what I have read in other similar posts.
