I am currently a new grad with 3 years of work experience with Amzn/Msft before Masters. Base - 133k RSU - 140k over 3.5 years Sign on - 15k for 1st year + 15k for 2nd year Perf Bonus(Refreshers) - 0 - 20% of base salary. TC - 133k + 35k stocks (140k/4) + 15k = 183k (without bonus) TC + 13k(10% perf bonus) = 196k What is the maximum base they go for L61? How to negotiate to increase compensation? Should I ask for level 62? PS: I have a competing offer with OCI Seattle at IC3 level. TC = 240k (160k base + 20k sign on + rest stocks) #engineering #software #swe
base can go to 140k stocks are max maybe 150 meh sigon can be 25+20

Ic3 is like 62-64, so why go msft?
My L61 Redmond offer last year was 135k/200k/55k after using G/FB offers as leverage. I would say base should be able to go up to like 137k, maybe 140k if lucky, but focus on bringing stocks up since 140k stocks is high but not max.

Redmond cost center, but technically a satellite office in Colorado. Could've gone to Redmond to instead though.

Yeah the recruiter informed that. I have informed about this offer. Not sure how much they will increase. Is the base maxed out for L61?
U are pretty close, base can't go up too much, it is fixed within range, at most another 7k to 140k base. Msft usually give shitty rsu for industry hire, 140k is pretty good
