Do senior finance managers receive annual stock grants? Just got an offer from Microsoft but was told only directors are eligible for annual grants which I find very hard to believe.
Also, is a 145k base, 15% cash bonus target, and 75k stock over four years upfront reasonable for a L63?
#corpfinance #finance #microsoft
Update: Verbally offered at L63. 145k base, 15% cash bonus, 22k annual performance based stock award, 10k cash sign on year 1 and year 2, 75k upfront stock vesting over 5 years,
just to get pulled last second due to "change of internal business needs".
Anyone in finance in one of the big techs hiring? Holler at your boy here.

The range is 0-44k.
145k base is below the range midpoint, which is $155K. If you feel well qualified/experienced for the role shoot for $155K-$160k.
I would push for more stock, but not sure what the standard offers are these days.
As an employee you see these figures/ranges for your current level in the ‘totalrewards’ modeler.
