I had onsite at Microsoft two weeks ago and the manager reached out the same day about him accepting me and telling me a recruiter will reach out to me soon. I have not heard back from the recruiter yet regarding an offer. I emailed them about it but no one responded. I have a feeling they are interviewing more candidates for the roles, which is natural. I have planned interviews with other teams at Microsoft and elsewhere. I wanted to know if my other interviews at Microsoft is affecting the process even though they are with different recruiters. I am not in a rush, but I don’t know what to expect. Is this a precursor to the team rejecting me after accepting, or a possible low ball offer? I really liked the team and the manager, but their whole process seem very iffy now. #microsoft TC: 105K (Atlanta)
You mean there was a gap of three months between interviewer offering you and final offer?
No. He is talking about his on call rotation.
Can I DM you for your interview experience?
Yeah
Did you get the offer finallly ?
Yes.
After how long did you get the offer?
I had interviews with other teams and they waited until the end of that. And then got it.
Any update? Curious about the timeline
Identity on call sucks dick. Good luck.
Haven’t decided to work there yet. Good to know. Do you know how the engineering team and the management is? From my impression the interviewers were very smart.
Everything is A+. There's just a once every two months on-call where you're the primary for incident response 24/7 for a week. The identity team is notoriously bad compared to others for on-call but everything else is great. If you can get over that small issue, you'll really enjoy it there.
