Microsoft SWE Internship with Core Engineering Services

Hi, I am a Masters student and received an software engineer internship offer with Microsoft for the Core Services engineering group I have been reading posts on blind and not getting a very good vibe out of the group. The interviewers were from CSE Sales and marketing group and I am not sure if I'll be joining the same sub group Can someone please elaborate how bad the work is there? Is there any dev work at all or just maintenance of legacy systems? If there is Dev work how clean is it? Or do people have random commits without qa and don't care about the product? Is it possible for me to ask the recruiter to put in a better team The interviewers told me they work on react, graph ql and azure which sounded interesting. Should I ask them to put me in the same team. I don't have an offer from any other place yet and need to tell Msft my decision in a few days. If I do join this is it possible for me to switch to product teams after a year or do the product teams prefer people who have worked on other product teams? Thank you. TC 0 Yoe 2 years
