What BS. Article fails to mention that Half of azure is ex-amazon. The Seattle market has 2 big tech employers. Amazon and Microsoft.

Microsoft’s brain drain has been going on for 6-8 years or more. Anyone who can do better gets out. Hasn’t been a place for the best and the brightest/those with the most ambition in a long time. My only wish is that we don’t poach more Microsoft middle managers. They can stay.

There must be really huge $$ involved, since MS is heaven compared to Amazon.
You know microsoft's pay isn't competitive when a new grad like me is making the same or a bit less than a senior engineer there.
