We’ve recently acquired someone who’s been bounced around campus because of his terrible communication skills, bad judgement, lack of empathy, and general jerkiness. My assumption is that most big companies find it riskier and more expensive to fire them than keep them and move them around (MS and Arch Bishops have that in common). Why is this?
