Just spreading the word out. If you're an immigrant in US with Microsoft offer, don't bother coming as Microsoft Immigration scene is a shit show right now. No matter whether you are hoping to get H1B, PERM for EB2 or even EB1.

Usually technical management have no idea or donāt care about the immigration process Iām pretty sure thereās a legal team who just need manager approvals for budget purposes - without explaining what went wrong with your case and simple spreading the wrong word isnāt fair. What policies changes ? What information are you requesting the management ? Asking them when will you get PERM? š I have an offer from MS and HR said PERM will be started 60days after start date.
Nope, thatās not going to happen unless you are in immediate need of PERM i.e. your stay in the US is mostly going to get affected if they do not file right away. The policy is around creating 3-4 labor market test slots over a year and prioritizing people on some criteria which is not limited to the above reason. It also includes the immigration team being short on people.
