Microsoft is changing hiring process for new grads ?

Had on site 4 interviews ending with launch together as a group with other interviewees, was prepared straight forward algorithm problems similar from leetcode and topcoder I got impression that Microsoft is changing the way they interview, had 45 mins each interview and 15 mins break in between. I felt that they exchanged feedbacks before the next interview being conducted Each interview will take 15 mins discussions about projects and behavioral questions then he will throw a vague problem and discuss about it for another 15 mins then will ask me to code up section of the problem for 10 mins then last 5 mins questions about Microsoft. I have mixed feelings about how I did for each interview. When I talked to other interviewees that had the same color coded dot on their visitor badge (means we are interviewing for new grad software eng position ), some of them never had any algorithm problems and all behavioral interviews and discussions. All of the interviewers gave me positive feedbacks but I know that they were being polite and nice not to hurt my feelings that’s why I am more inclined towards the feeling of being failed Anyone here would be able to specify if Microsoft is changing the interview process for new grads ? Or can it be the case we were all being tested for a pilot HR new hiring strategy ?

True fact about interviewers being polite. They were too polite to me that when my feedback came it was a no hire from all interviewers.. This was years ago.

What did you guys talk about during your launch? Was it casual? Interview launches are always awkward.

What is an interview launch and what are you launching?
