Microsoft doesn't do anything innovative. Massive numbers of contractors who are treated like second class citizens. Too many MBAs over actual SWEs or Data Scientists.
Maybe your problem is adding too many letters to FANG.
It's just FAANG not FAANGM.
ORGASM...Oracle Redfin Google Amazon Snap Microsoft
Seems to be working well for them. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depends on perspective) your feeling of worth isn’t strongly indicative of the success of a company.
Stock price doesn’t say so. I guess it’s your problem
I think we should replace facebook with walmart so we can have WAANG
I suggest replace A with Banana. It’s lunch time dude
I like MS because of the stock price. Has already made a lot of money from it. Otherwise, I don't ser myself working for them ever. Their main softwares are shotty
MSFT has been bleeding talent for a while now and they know it. They tried to stop the bleeding by handing out SSA last year but don't think it worked.
FANG originated to simplify tech stocks to the masses and not working environment or innovation and half the FANG (Netflix and Facebook) aren't pushing out innovation, they're just sitting on cash cows and pushing feature improvements. (If you think Libra is innovative I have some waterfront property in Florida I'd like to talk to you about).
People can’t stand to be excluded....lol. Let FANG have their glory without you adding the entire alphabet to the acronym...smh
MBAs add more value than your average SWE
Also, lots of offers rescinded after giving them out. A lot of these offers are rescinded unofficially, ie, the hiring manager just asks you that he is no longer interested.
What is the reason for offer rescind. I already signed offer letter, does that mean they can rescind?
Microsoft doesn't rescind a lot of offers officially. But unofficially, it's common practice for the hiring manager to call you and tell you that you're no longer needed.
