Microsoft tech stack

Does Microsoft tech adds value to ur resume (.net, c#). As most of the companies including faang uses java as primary language. I know interview happens mostly on data structure and design. But companies like Goldman do look at java exp. Will working in .net tech counts as exp. In these companies interview.

C#, .NET experiences are mostly useless outside Microsoft.

Will that be an issue when interviewing for big companies

I don't think so.

Do cpp and forget about the rest. Cpp > Java

Do Java its easier than c++... Trust me I have more experience in c++ than Java...

Even though it's objectively better than Java, nobody in FAANG uses it (other than Microsoft). Do yourself a favor and stick with Java/Python/C++ or even more fancy stuff like Scala/Go/Rust.

But what if i get offer from ms itself. Shall i ignore it.

Amazon spasticus Sep 21, 2019

Don't: brands mean much more than languages/technologies on your CV.

Only LC adds value

Leetcode?

Yep

You don't hire software engineers based on the language they use the most, you want their brain and the way they think.

I love Java second to Scala, but since when do most FAANG companies use Java? I count 2 out of 5.
