Microsoft to LinkedIn transfer sign on

Does anyone who got offer from Microsoft to LinkedIn transfer have sign on? Recently got a offer from LinkedIn, the recruiter told me that Microsoft employee can not get sign on. Is this true? If not, how much usually is it?

Use LinkedIn to find out ๐Ÿ˜‰. Search for LinkedIn employees, find one who's job history shows Microsoft > LinkedIn after the acquisition date, then message them and ask. However, it seems logical that they wouldn't do sign-on bonuses because Microsoft owns LinkedIn. You could probably negotiate for a level bump or pay raise though.

That's what I heard too. No sign on bonus for such transfers.
