    SDE > DE

If it was SDE vs SDE then
Amazon > Microsoft (for new grads especially)

I worked both at MS (L59 and L60) and at Amazon (L5). From learning perspective amazon (especially AWS) is great early in career.
      MS is for retiring

But if you wanna chill, then go with MS

    • ^ depends on the org actually. I won't comment on Amazon, however it is one thing to work on Windows (forgot how the org is called) and completely other on Azure

I voted Amazon as I think it looks better on resume, but I didn't see its DE vs SDE. In that case I'd say MS

Imo you are more likely to work on better projects in Amazon that will look better on resume, carry more ownership, teach you more and advance you in your career. MS is a more laid back environment where it is easy to learn less, and you may have less opportunity for owning work that'll teach you a lot and look good on resume.
