Hey all. Trying to figure out the best place for me to intern at. I would really like to intern somewhere that I can smoothly transition into for full time, as I'm trying to avoid the new grad recruiting cycle. All intern pay is pretty similar, but from what I could find new grad return offers look like the following: - Microsoft: 170k tc (if I only get 59, but if I returned I might be able to swing 60) - Tableau: 180k tc - Riot Games: 150~160k (not totally sure on this one) Ultimately, trying to find the most enjoyable work first and foremost. I didn't really enjoy my time at Microsoft before, so I'm trying to avoid returning. Would like to work on products that have impact that I can actually enjoy working on. I'm also in the pipeline at Amazon, Pinterest, and a couple of other places, but I'd really like to finish up on recruiting and sign an offer. #microsoft #riotgames #tableau
Trade referrals?
I would not recommend going into gaming companies like Riot unless you are passionate about games enough to make bad WLB and low TC worth it
MS then team change.
I was in the same boat a few years ago. Chose tableau over msft and still think I made the right choice.

Question from Israeli friends
Is there a specific industry you want to be in?
Not particularly.. but I do feel like Riot Games would probably be coolest (I've been playing their games for a long time and I'm a gamer). I've just heard some bad things about WLB and TC.
