Hard to decide.
Microsoft:
Higher return rate, Bigger name, beautiful environment, good wlb, it’s swe role for hardware team like surface, for which I feel neutral.
But exactly are interns happy at MS? Exactly what’s the conversion rate?
Verily:
Google/alphabet company, so basically this is a google intern chance. and I do think they are promising to change the world; also mostly their interns came from MIT or Stanford, feels very elite.
However, Verily is, after all, not google; I’m doubting if this name will be more beneficial than Microsoft on my resume. Also they are very mysterious with no info about intern return, and seems google system intern convention rate is very low.
Thx!

Yes, interns are happy at Microsoft. You get great benefits, good pay and an infinite stream of social events you can attend. It's a lot of fun.
But if you interned at Amazon and have these two offers, don't make the conversion rate your main decision factor. You'll probably get a return offer anyway. You can always apply for a new grad position as well.
