I recently accepted a new job. The hiring manager who hired me appears to have been laid off. He is within his final 2 weeks. I have been connected to his replacement, who has not replied to my email asking to touch base and introduce myself. I’m guessing my new manager is busy with onboarding as he’s pretty high up in the company. My role is nestled under him because I’m in a “floater” PM position.
Should I be worried? What would you do in my shoes. I start in 3 weeks.
