Iβm currently interviewing with Stripe for a PM role. Hoping to convert it into an offer. π€π½ My primary motivation is to do good work with motivated, modest and smart creatives. Iβm not majorly bothered about the valuation and IPO timelines. I do however have short term financial commitments that force me to also optimise for job security. Folks at Stripe, could you let me know howβs the overall morale at Stripe after valuation cuts, competitor valuation also dropping and investments like βFastβ going bust? Are there any indications of layoffs. ##stripe TC: ~140k USD (Non-US)

Valuation cut is probably a good thing for new hires, so if anything thatβs better security for you.
Math.max(409a, last funding price) is what your first year new hire grant vests on. Besides, Fidelity doesn't determine their 409a, the company pays a third party to determine that.
Offer says itβs avg price on 409a of 90days before start.
