Hi all. I recently completed the Amazon onsite loop for a commercially-focused role. Had a call with a recruiter who said I was "Very Amazonian" and "Great fit for the Amazon culture" and I did "very well" in the interview process but ... no offer. He said that there are two other teams that I could be a fit for and more phone screens are going to happen. Has anybody been in a similar situation? Is there genuine interest you think?
This isn’t all that uncommon; similar to passing HC and then doing team matching although they don’t really call it that at Amazon
Same boat. To their credit, recruiter did set me up another team, but that position got cancelled 2 days before the interview. Don't expect special treatment. It's very very slow and I guess depends on the recruiter
Thanks for the response, sent you a DM

Genuine interest. You likely have an inclined interview loop, but did not get offer from the original team. Could be many reasons so don’t sweat it. They’re working to match you with other teams that are interested in you.
