How’s the bonus for Sr. Software engineer in general in Azure team? Also; How’s the job grading - staff in LI same as Sr. Software engineer in MS? I don’t see any staff Engineer grades in MS Looks like it’s principal software after Sr.
You will probably need to take a pay cut. Bonus for Senior SWE is 0-30%, expect 15%.
You want to move to WA and get same comp as Bay area? Are you aware that money is worth way more here because of taxes and COL? You can take a 15% pay cut coming here and still be way better off.
People usually move from MS to LI. LI to MS is a downgrade, so not worth unless it comes with a significant TC bump.
Coming to azure would be an upgrade for most.
