TC currently is about 75k, not really going for a set TC right now just want to move more into tech and move into NYC instead of being in Jersey
It's still fairly early in your career and since you have some coding experience you can definitely spin that as impactful programming work on your resume. I'd suggest throw a couple solid side projects on your resume (Pick up a stack or piece of software that interests you). Also you gotta start leetcoding asap, especially if you haven't done any before. Get to a point where you can solve half the medium level questions without looking at the answers then you're ready to interview. Easier said than done. Gotta put work in if you want it.
LC god. Looks at Joma.
What is the interview process like for DE at Bloomberg? LC or SQL?
Did you end up moving?
Hey OP! Did you end up switching roles?
Location?
Currently in the Princeton Bloomberg office but want to relocate to nyc asap, move can be internal or external. Also happy to do something like data engineering or data science
