Is it worth moving to Atlanta to work for a not so tech organization? #businessanalyst young family<5 years old kids yoe- 8 tc $120 any one from Atlanta here?
Thank you
Np, Atlanta is a cool place. Lot of good food too. 120 in the burbs should go a long way but the commute might suck a little
Yeah, school for kids is most important to me. I have heard Johns creek is best for public schools.
Yes it is worth. Many Atlanta suburbs are very good. Cost of living is not high. Good number of companies. Living for 9 year with 2 kids.
What’s suburbs would you recommend for good schools and quality of life?
North - Johns creek, Smyrna, Alpharetta, marrietra (In order). On south side, Peachtree city is best among all but far from your work through.
Born and raised, and recently moved away. Going up GA-400 until Cumming will have multiple pockets with good QoL and Schools - Alpharetta, Roswell, Forsyth Co, Roswell/Marietta, etc. If you’re fine with commute then the burbs are your oyster. Sandy Springs is a death trap when it comes to traffic though. Also check out heading a bit west/east on 285 and look at Smyrna and Decatur
Thank you, @hsegckd @CThor
I grew up there. Where in Atlanta/the surrounding metro area are you moving to?
My office is in Sandy Springs and I am yet to decide where would I buy an apartment before buying the house in 2021.
Need to consider school and day care for kids
